Kerrie Flynn, LMT, RYT, CFT since 1991. Highly recognized in the field of Sports Massage and a pioneer in Flexibility Training, Ms. Flynn works privately with professional - amateur athletes and dancers.
From the start of her massage career in 1991, Kerrie studied and worked with Aaron Mattes, developer of Active Isolated Stretching, she immediately integrated AIS into her private practice - Flexibility Training & Sports Massage

Since a young child her love and talent for dance was evident. Having retired from the dance profession of 20 years, Kerrie is thrilled to be working with dancers of the world renowned Joffrey Ballet School in NYC. She is presently the resident Massage Therapist where she also teaches classes in their Trainee Program. In 2007, Kerrie has acquired her certification as a Yoga Teacher & Therapist and is registered with the International Yoga Alliance and the International Alliance of Yoga Therapists, thus intergrating Yoga philosophies and movement into sessions.
As a member of the Sports Massage Team with the 2004 SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES, placed in the Olympic Village where she worked with the world's top athletes from all countries and in all of the sports. An extraordinary and educational experience thus sharpening her expert Sports Massage skills, ( and her bi-lingual skill of the Italian language - Que Fantastico!)
Past employment history includes working with professional sports teams such as The New York Knicks, and the WTA–Women’s Tennis Association, at the US Open in Flushing, NY. and also co-coordinating the Sports Massage Team in Bethpage for the 2002 US Open Golf Tournament.
Kerrie was the first woman and Massage Therapist, ever to receive the prestigious “Outstanding Medical Service Award” for her contribution as the Sports Massage Team Coordinator and Trainer for the NY Metropolitan Athletics Congress, the National USA Track and Field Association in 1995. This award gained recognition and respect for the profession of Massage Therapy. During that time she was also the Sports Massage Director of the NY State Society of Massage Therapists, Inc., the official sports massage team of the Long Island Marathon.
1994- 2004 she was a faculty instructor at The New York College of Health Professions in Syosset, NY. She taught classes in Sports Massage, Swedish and Medical Massage, Business Management, Ethics and Professional Development. She returns to the NY College occasionally to teach continuing education courses.
1996 - The Director of The Waterview Nursing Care Facility in Queens NY, contacted Kerrie Flynn to develop a Massage Therapy program for children in long term care either in Coma or suffering from Trauma Brain Injuries. She was delighted and honored to pioneer the massage therapy program, which became so successful it has now grown into an established Complimentary Health Care Dept.
1991-2000, Kerrie started, owned and directed a very successful integrated wholistic center called “Keep In Touch - Center for Therapeutic Massage”, in Douglaston and Little Neck, NY. It was there that she developed and refined her business acumen and healing skills as a Massage Therapist at the same time culturing a deeper understanding of the body, mind and spirit connection by teaching Yoga and Meditation classes. Successfully sold the center which is still open and serving the community.
